Sonali Fernando has an extensive and notable background in the food, service, and hospitality industries. She knows first-hand the importance of integrity and resiliency in any business. Fernando, who was co-owner of restaurant Oxalis, opened La Fin du Monde, and was a famed bartender at Bar Tonique, all located in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently a Cultural Engineer for Ace Hotel New Orleans. We are so grateful to have her here in Pittsburgh to share her experience with us.
The 86 Conference is a two-day event that opens with a full day of talks and workshops Monday, July 24th from 10am – 6pm, with an evening networking and social event from 6:30pm – 12am. Tuesday begins at 10am with another great lineup of speakers and concludes at 3pm.
VIP tickets include a one night stay at Ace Hotel for either Sunday or Monday night. If you're visiting the area, please consider lodging at the Ace Hotel or one of the other fine hotels in the neighborhood.
